ScaleIO Driver For EMC’s open-source storage controller
Jul. 2015 – April.2016
  • Designed and implemented a ScaleIO storage driver for EMC’s CoprHD cloud storage platform to manage ScaleIO block storage system, including discovery, volume provisioning, clone and snapshot operations.
  • Collaborated with developers in EMC to resolve issues found in adaptation of generic CoprHD storage driver API to specific operations of ScaleIO array.
  • Created automated deployment solutions for coprHD and ScaleIO Driver.
Web Development

  • Designed and developed an Event-Oriented social networking site for Fujian Normal University, which enables students or organizations to view, search, create, promote and manage on-campus events. (Senior Project)
  • Developed a database api of Net Dragon education web application to provide data for mobile team.
  • Developed a module for Net Dragon education web application that handles Single Sign On and role-based navigation.
  • Designed and developed a car rental system, including the accessible user interface and backend support.

Leadership

  • Presented ScaleIO driver project and led a discussion in CoprHD Dev Summit (Jan. 2016) and Linux storage and filesystems conference (Apr. 2016)
  • Led a team of six to design and develop a Car Rental System during Undergraduate Innovative Training Program, which includes hosting meetings to prioritize features, developing user stories, discussing goals and determining timelines.
